Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with the following: an imaging unit that images a subject to obtain a taken image; a display unit that displays said taken image; a reference contrast-value determination unit that, for each part of the taken image, acquires a reference contrast value to use to determine whether or not said part is in focus; an image-to-be-recorded contrast-value determination unit that obtains a contrast value for each part of a taken image to be recorded; a focus determination unit that, by comparing the reference contrast values acquired by the reference contrast-value determination unit with the contrast values obtained by the image-to-be-recorded contrast-value determination unit, determines the focus state of the taken image to be recorded; and a display control unit that displays, on the abovementioned display unit, both the taken image to be recorded and the result of the determination performed by the focus determination unit.
