Abstract:
An imaging device, imaging method, and imaging program are provided which enable storage of high-resolution captured image data and which make it possible to immediately confirm said captured image data on a display unit. When there is an imaging command, a system control unit 11 exposes a light receiving surface 60 of an imaging element 5 and, after completion of exposure, reads out an imaging signal from an imaging element 5 over five field periods. In the initial field period, the system control unit 11 reads out an imaging signal from a field that includes phase difference detection pixels 61R, 61L, and, in a subsequent field period, reads out an imaging signal from a field that includes only imaging pixels. The digital signal processing unit 17 displays a post view image on the basis of an imaging signal read out during the initial field period, and updates the post view image on the basis of the imaging signal read out during the subsequent field period.
