Abstract:
Provided is an imaging device for imaging a biological organ for the purpose of biometric authentication in order to efficiently and effectively image a biological organ when performing biometric authentication. The imaging device irradiates light onto the biological organ from both the front side and rear side. The configuration is characterized in that while light is irradiated onto the biological organ from both the front side and rear side, both the ridge shape on the surface on the front side of the biological organ and the shape of the blood vessels inside the biological organ are imaged all at once. Thereby a biological organ can be imaged efficiently and effectively when performing biometric authentication.
