Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device by which high quality reconstructed images can be individually acquired for a plurality of different directions at a wide angle of view without using a lens, and an imaging module used in such an imaging device. In an imaging device according to an aspect of the present invention, incident light is divided by directional sensors for each of a plurality of directional regions and images corresponding to the respective directional regions are reconstructed from a plurality of projection images acquired for each of the directional regions. Therefore, incident light from oblique directions does not act as noise to incident light from the front direction, and projection images can be individually obtained per directional region over a wide range spanning from the front direction to oblique directions. Thus, by performing reconstruction processing appropriate for a pattern mask used and the nature of the projection images, high quality reconstructed images can be individually acquired for a plurality of different directions (directional regions) at a wide angle of view without using a lens.
