Abstract:
An imaging device (100) for imaging an object while reflecting the imaging intention directly
without dissociating the zooming form the other camera works. The imaging device
(100) comprises a multi-focus lens (101) for varying the imaging range of an object
(300) imaged by an imaging sensor (102) by changing the focal distance, a distance
sensor (104) for measuring the distance (imaging distance D) to the object (300),
an imaging distance buffer section (105) for temporality storing the imaging
distance Di-1 measured at a past time Ti-1, a focal distance
calculating section (106) for calculating the focal distance F of the multi-focus
lens (101) from the imaging distance Di at the current time Ti
measured by a distance sensor (104) and the imaging distance Di-l sent
from the imaging distance buffer section (105), and a focal control section (107)
for controlling the focal distance of the multi-focus lens (101) so that the focal
distance may be the focal distance F calculated by the focal distance calculating
section (106).
