Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: an imaging unit for imaging an object to be imaged and outputting an imaging signal; an illumination unit with multiple light sources for emitting light of multiple respective colors that differ from each other; a color-separating section for separating the imaging signal into multiple signals corresponding to the multiple colors; a color of interest-setting section for setting a color on which to focus as the color of interest; and a light emission balance control section for increasing the amount of light of the light source corresponding to the color of interest set by the color of interest-setting section on the basis of the signals separated by the color-separating section and controlling the balance of light emission by the multiple light sources.
