Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with an video processing unit (23) which, for video captured of a monitoring area, performs masking processing in which the area inside of the contours of persons is changed to a mask image, a video output unit (24) which, in a first output mode, outputs masking-processed video, which has undergone masking processing, and, in a second output mode, outputs unprocessed video which has not undergone masking processing, and a control unit (26) which switches the output mode of the video output unit in accordance with user commands. When the imaging device is started, the control unit initializes the output mode to the first output mode.
