Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to correct or adjust the curtain travel curve when shutter blades are driven by a power source in which a motor mechanism and a spring mechanism are combined. This invention is provided with: a motor mechanism for generating, by energizing a coil, the travel torque of shutter blades of a mechanical shutter provided on the pathway of light incident on an imaging element; and a spring mechanism for generating travel torque of the shutter blades together with the motor mechanism. A control unit capable of individually controlling the value of the current supplied to the coil and the length of time between the start of energization of the coil and the start of travel of the shutter blades is provided in this case.
