Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an imaging device with which it is possible to always acquire a high-quality imaging result in which picture quality degradation that could occur due to pixels for focus detection is suppressed. In order to achieve this purpose, this imaging device is provided with: an imaging optical system 11 for forming a subject image; an imaging element 21a in which some of pixels in a region where pixels for image formation are arranged in matrix form are disposed as pixels for focus detection, the imaging element 21a photoelectrically converting the subject image formed by the imaging optical system; an optical influence estimation unit 311 for using an output signal from the pixels for image formation, an output signal from the pixels for focus detection, and two-dimensional pixel position information about the pixels for focus detection to estimate the degree of influence of vignetting due to the imaging optical system in accordance with an imaged height; and an optical influence correction unit 312 for executing image processing having content that varies according to the result of estimation by the optical influence estimation unit.
