Abstract:
An imaging device of the present invention comprises: an imaging unit which is configured so as to acquire an image by imaging a subject and also to acquire digital data of the image; a determination unit for determining whether or not, in data of each pixel included in the digital data, first and second bit values are continuously equal to or greater than a predetermined bit number; a bit value inversion processing unit for, if a determination result is obtained to the effect that the first and second bit values are continuously equal to or greater than the predetermined bit number, inverting bit values in such a way that the ratio of the first and second bit values included in the data of the pixel in question assume a predetermined ratio; and a serial converter for serializing and outputting bit values of the digital data obtained as the processing result of the bit value inversion processing unit.
