Abstract:
This imaging device for vehicles is provided with: an imaging means which is capable of imaging an imaging side; a transparent heater which is provided at least in a range within the angle of view of the imaging means on the imaging side of the imaging means and which generates heat upon being energized and thereby heats the imaging side of the imaging means; and a resistance member which is provided in an electric circuit including the heater, which generates heat upon being energized, and in which the value of electric resistance is increased along with a temperature rise caused by the heat generation, such that the value of electric current applied to the heater is decreased.
