Abstract:
Provided is an imaging device which can perform variable frame rate imaging by changing the frame rate during photographing. The imaging device is provided with a switch (52) which a photographer operates to input a frame rate change instruction during photographing, and a frame rate control section (51) wherein a signal corresponding to the operation quantity of the switch (52) is inputted and the frame rate is controlled based on the frame rate change instruction indicated by the inputted signal. Since the imaging device controls the imaging frame rate based on the instruction inputted by the operation of the switch (52) during photographing, the frame rate can be discretionary changed in accordance with the movement of an object during photographing.
