Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: an image-forming lens that has a focal distance that differs by region; a light-receiving unit that has a plurality of light-receiving elements; a plurality of optical elements that are provided corresponding to each of the plurality of light-receiving elements and that cause each corresponding light-receiving element to receive imaging-subject light that has passed through a predetermined pupil region in the exit pupil of the image-forming lens; and an image-generating unit that generates an image of the imaging subject from the imaging signals of the plurality of light-receiving elements. A plurality of first optical elements among the plurality of optical elements cause imaging-subject light passing through a first pupil region in the exit pupil and a region of the image-forming lens that has a first focal distance to enter corresponding light-receiving elements, and a plurality of second optical elements among the plurality of optical elements cause imaging-subject light passing through a second pupil region in the exit pupil and a region of the image-forming lens that has a second focal distance to enter corresponding light-receiving elements.
