Abstract:
The imaging device disclosed in the present application is equipped with: a lens optical system (L); an imaging element (N) having at least multiple first pixels and multiple second pixels, to which the light that has passed through the lens optical system (L) is incident; and an array-type optical element (K) arranged between the lens optical system and the imaging element. The lens optical system includes a first optical region (D1), which primarily transmits light oscillating in the direction of a first polarized light axis, and a second optical region (D2), which primarily transmits light oscillating in the direction of a second polarized light axis that differs from the direction of the first polarized light axis. The array-type optical element causes light that has passed through the first optical region (D1) to be incident to the multiple first pixels, and causes the light that has passed through the second optical region (D2) to be incident to the multiple second pixels.
