Title:
IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/029688
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention provides an imaging device wherein the number of light-receiving cells allocated to each microlens in a lens array is substantially reduced and the number of pixels in simultaneously taken images having different characteristics can be increased. One mode of this invention consists of an imaging device provided with the following: an imaging optical system comprising center optical systems (wide-angle lenses) and annular optical systems (telephoto lenses) that share optical axes; an image sensor (18); and a lens array (16) that is laid out on the input-surface side of the image sensor (18) and comprises microlenses (pupil imaging lenses) (16a). Of center pupil images (17a) and annular pupil images (17b) formed on the image sensor (18) by the microlenses (16a) in the lens array (16), parts of annular pupil images (17b) corresponding to adjacent annular optical systems overlap on the image sensor (17).
