Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: an imaging unit, which comprises a plurality of unit pixels with a photoelectric conversion element, arranged in an matrix; a reference signal generation unit which generates a reference signal; comparison units which have a first input terminal electrically connected to the reference signal generation unit and a second input terminal electrically connected to the unit pixels, have a difference amplifier for comparing the voltage of the first input terminal and the second input terminal, and are arranged for every one or multiple rows in the pixel arrangement in the imaging unit; and a measurement unit which measures the comparison time, from the comparison start to the comparison end, by the comparison unit and generates data corresponding to the comparison time. The comparison units have a first capacitive element. A first terminal of the first capacitive element is electrically connected to the first input terminal, and a second terminal of the first capacitive element is electrically connected to a prescribed voltage source.
