Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: an imaging unit that captures an image; and an installation unit at which is installed the imaging unit in a removable manner. The installation unit houses a first contactless transmission unit that contactlessly transmits/receives electrical power and/or a signal. The imaging unit houses: a shaft section that is supported rotatably at a bearing affixed to the imaging unit; a second contactless transmission unit that is affixed to one end at the installation unit side of the shaft, opposes the first contactless transmission unit, and contactlessly transmits/receives electrical power and/or a signal; and an imaging mechanism unit that is affixed to the other end at the reverse side from the installation unit side of the shaft, and that connects to the second contactless transmission unit via a transmission wire inserted into the shaft. As a result, waterproofness and dustproofness are increased, and so it is possible to improve long-term reliability.
