Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with an imaging element (244) having: a light reception unit (244f) in which a plurality of pixels, which each generate an electrical signal by means of photoelectric conversion of received light, are provided in a matrix shape; a reading unit (244g) that sequentially reads the electrical signals generated by the pixels in a line-by-line manner; and an imaging control unit (244e) that performs imaging control that alternatingly repeats a read process, which reads the electrical signals generated by at least pixels that are image processing subjects among the plurality of pixels, and a exposure process, which exposes the light reception unit. The imaging device is further provided with a drive information generation unit (408a) that sets the exposure period for the exposure process on the basis of an electrical signal, and generates drive information from the set exposure period. The imaging control unit (244e) controls the exposure process and read process on the basis of the drive information.
