Abstract:
An imaging device is equipped with: an optical system containing movable lenses; an imaging unit that captures an image of an imaging subject by means of the optical system; a microphone for gathering sound; and a control unit for controlling the optical system and the imaging unit, and for acquiring an audio signal from the microphone. In addition, the imaging device has a first and a second moving-image imaging mode. The control unit controls the movable lenses such that the speed of the movable lenses when imaging a moving image is greater when imaging in the first mode than when imaging in the second mode, and, when imaging in the first mode, subjects the audio signal to a filtering process using a filter having a narrower frequency band than when imaging in the second mode.
