Abstract:
An imaging device comprises: a light source; a light diffuser plate (3) that includes a plurality of mutually adjacent lenses (30) arranged on a prescribed surface and diffuses the light emitted from the light source; and an imaging element that includes a plurality of pixels and receives the light diffused by the light diffuser plate (3) and reflected from a subject. The plurality of lenses (30) are arranged so that the period of the interference fringes created by the diffused light is less than or equal to three pixels in the imaging element. Thereby, it is possible to provide an imaging device capable of suppressing the effect of the interference fringes produced in the diffused light in an image created when a subject is captured by irradiating the subject with the light diffused by the light diffuser plate (3) which includes the plurality of lenses (30).
