Abstract:
An imaging device in which LED elements are mounted on a surface of an LED substrate while being electrically connected to a wiring pattern. On a surface of the LED substrate, a heat sink for dissipating heat generated from the LED substrate is disposed on the side of the LED substrate on which the LED elements are mounted. The heat sink has: a base portion which is mounted to the LED substrate in a manner in which the heat transfer surface thereof faces the surface of the LED substrate so as to enable heat transfer, and which allows illumination light from the LED elements to pass therethrough; and a plurality of fins which are provided on the heat radiation surface integrally therewith, protrude from the heat radiation surface while being spaced apart from one another, and are cooled by air generated by natural convection.
