Abstract:
An imaging device according to one embodiment of the present technology includes a main body, a display unit, a hinge mechanism, a detection unit, and a control unit. The main body includes an imaging optical system. The display unit displays images. The hinge mechanism links the main body and the display unit to each other, and rotatably supports the display unit with respect to the main body about a first axis, a second axis that intersects the first axis, and a third axis that intersects the first and second axes. The detection unit detects the posture of the display unit. The control unit controls the display of images on the display unit on the basis of the output from the detection unit.
