Title:
IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/131028
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with pixels each including: a permittivity modulation element including a first terminal, a second terminal, and a permittivity modulation structure located between the first terminal and the second terminal and having a permittivity that changes by light irradiation; a capacitive element including a first electrode and a second electrode, the second electrode being electrically connected to the second terminal of the permittivity modulation element; and a detection circuit which outputs a signal corresponding to the potential of the second terminal. The imaging device is further provided with a voltage supply circuit which applies first voltage to one of the first terminal of the permittivity modulation element and the first electrode of the capacitive element during a first period, and applies second voltage thereto during a second period different from the first period, and a signal processing circuit which generates a third signal that is a difference between a first signal outputted from the detection circuit during the first period and a second signal outputted from the detection circuit during the second period, and a potential difference between the first terminal and the first electrode when the second voltage is applied to the one is lower than a potential difference between the first terminal and the first electrode when the first voltage is applied to the one.
