Abstract:
The present invention provides an imaging device for capturing a four- or more band multispectral image. An imaging device (1 comprises an imaging optical system (10), an image sensor (100), and a signal processing unit (200). The imaging optical system (10) comprises, in the vicinity of a pupil, a band-pass filter unit (16) in which at least one of aperture regions transmits light in multiple types of wavelength bands, and a polarizing filter unit (18) which polarizes, in multiple directions, the light transmitted through the band-pass filter unit (16). The image sensor (100) receives light transmitted through multiple types of spectral filter elements and multiple types of polarizing filter elements. The signal processing unit (200) processes a signal outputted from the image sensor (100) and generates multiple image signals. In the imaging device (1), the number of transmitted wavelength bands of the at least one aperture region of the band-pass filter unit (16) is less than or equal to the number of transmitted wavelength bands of the spectral filter elements.
