Abstract:
In the present invention, a correction data amount is reduced when correcting an image signal. A correction data retention unit retains: a correction value for an end part pixel that is a pixel arranged in an end part of a pixel array section of correction values when correcting the image signal outputted from pixels arranged in a peripheral part that is a region in the vicinity of the end part in the pixel array section where pixels outputting the image signal in accordance with an irradiated light are arranged in a matrix shape; and a distance to the end part from the peripheral part and a boundary of a region other than the peripheral part in the pixel array section. A correction value generation unit generates, on the basis of the retained correction value and distance, a correction value for the pixels arranged between the end part pixel and a peripheral part boundary pixel which is a pixel arranged in the boundary. A correction unit performs correction of the image signal on the basis of the correction value.
