Abstract:

The present technology relates to an imaging element, a control method, and an imaging device that enable easier and more versatile data output. According to an aspect of the present technology, a plurality of signal lines for transmitting pixel signals read from pixels are allocated to each column. To each of the plurality of signal lines for each column, a different mode of reading the pixel signals is allocated. With respect to each column of a pixel array to which the pixels corresponding to the mode are connected, the pixel signals are read, in that mode, from the pixels connected to the signal line corresponding to the pixel signal reading mode, and the pixel signals that have been read are transmitted via the signal line. The present technology may be applied to an imaging element or an imaging device.
