Abstract:
This imaging element includes: a read circuit that reads out to a signal line a signal generated by an electrical charge obtained through photoelectric conversion; a storage circuit having an analogue-digital conversion unit that converts a first voltage signal based on an electric current from a first power source circuit into a digital signal, and a first storage unit that stores the first voltage signal converted into a digital signal by the analogue-digital conversion unit; and a first power source that supplies, to the signal line, an electric current generated from the first voltage signal stored in the first storage unit.
