Abstract:
An imaging element incorporates a storage unit and an output unit. The storage unit is capable of storing captured image data obtained by capturing an image of a subject. The output unit outputs image data for output based on the captured image data stored in the storage unit. The output unit has a first output line and a second output line. The first output line is connected to a first signal processing unit, the second output line is connected to a second signal processing unit, and at least one of an output frame rate of the image data for output and an output data amount of the image data for output differs between the first output line and the second output line.
