Abstract:
Disclosed is an imaging element that is provided with: a first pixel and a second pixel, each of which comprises a light receiving part that contains a photoelectric conversion element and a light collecting part that collects incident light to the light receiving part; a groove that is provided between the first pixel and the second pixel; a first light blocking film that is embedded in the groove; and a second light blocking film that is formed on a part of a light receiving surface of the light receiving part of the second pixel so as to be continuous to the first light blocking film.
