Abstract:
This imaging element of an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises first photoelectric conversion units and second photoelectric conversion units that are laminated in order from the light impinging side, and that selectively detect light of mutually different wavelength bands and perform photoelectric conversion, wherein the second photoelectric conversion units are placed at an interval that is narrower than the pixel pitch of the first photoelectric conversion units.
