IMAGING INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD USING DOT LIGHTING

In an imaging intrusion detection method, a converging lens coupled to a plurality of light sources forms a plurality of parallel light beams to illuminate a secure area with a plurality of dots, an intrusion detection camera captures a dotted image illuminated with dots, the captured dotted image is stored as reference dotted information in a memory unit, the intrusion detection camera regularly captures the secure area that is illuminated with dots, and when an input image is generated, dotted information is extracted from the input image and compared with the reference dotted information, after which it is determined, on the basis of a certain change in the dots, if an intrusion has occurred.
