Abstract:
This imaging lens is provided with, in order from the object side to the image plane side on which an imaging element is disposed, a plurality of positive lenses including a first positive lens and a second positive lens, and a negative lens, and satisfies the following conditional expressions. 0.8 < dGP1×dGP2 < 5.29 ….. (1) 5.0(%) < ODMAX < 40.0(%) ….. (2) where dGP1 is the specific gravity of the first positive lens, dGP2 is the specific gravity of the second positive lens, and ODMAX is the maximum value of distortion within an imaging area occurring by the imaging lens.
