Abstract:
An imaging lens (LN) having, in order from the object side, a first group (Gr1) having a positive power, a second group (Gr2) having a positive power, and a third group (Gr3) having a negative power. During focusing from infinity to a close object: the first group (Gr1) has a fixed position; the second group (Gr2) and the third group (Gr3 ) move such that the gap between the first group (Gr1) and the second group (Gr2) narrows and the gap between the second group (Gr2) and the third group (Gr3) widens; and the conditional formula 1.0 < f1/f < 2.5 is fulfilled (f1: focal length of first group (Gr1), f: focal length of the entire system). As a result, an imaging lens is obtained that: achieves both a bright F value and a reduction in focus group weight; satisfactorily corrects aberrations from the infinite end to the closest end; and can obtain uniform image quality over the entire image.
