Abstract:
This imaging support device comprises: a detection unit that detects the subject image position of a target subject image showing a target subject in a captured image obtained by photographing, with an imaging device having a variable magnification mechanism, a region to be imaged including the target subject, through an operation of a turning mechanism that turns the imaging device; and a control unit that performs position alignment control for aligning the subject image position detected by the detection unit with a specific position in the captured image with respect to the captured image obtained by being photographed with the imaging device according to a change in magnification to a telephoto side by means of the variable magnification mechanism.
