Abstract:
An imaging system (100) is provided with: a first imaging device (110) that has a first imaging element (111) and a first optical system (112); and a generation unit (105) that generates an image on the basis of image data acquired from the first imaging element (111), wherein the first optical system (112) is provided with a first free form surface lens that has a shape enabling the first imaging element (111) to form an image so as to vary the resolution of a part of a prescribed area from the resolution of another part when the number of imaging pixels for capturing an image included in a unit field angle is set as the resolution on the horizontal plane.
