Abstract:
This imaging system comprises: an imaging device that is mounted on a movable body; a blur compensation mechanism that compensates, on the basis of a movement blur compensation amount, blur occurring in the movement direction of the moving body during the imaging performed by the imaging device while the moving body is moving; and a control device that controls the imaging timing of the imaging device. The blur compensation mechanism drives a blur compensation unit for compensating for the blur occurring in the movement direction. The blur compensation unit has a reference position at which an axis orthogonal to a to-be-imaged object plane is parallel to the optical axis of a light incident upon the blur compensation unit. The control device causes the imaging performed by the imaging device to start in synchronization with the time when the blur compensation unit is positioned within a range in which the deviation amount from the reference position is equal to or less than a threshold value during the driving of the blur compensation unit.
