Abstract:
An imaging system capable of extracting the motion vector of an image signal and correcting shaking based on the extracted motion vector, comprising a correctable range setting means for setting a shaking-correctable range in an image signal, a means of extracting an image to be corrected for extracting as a first image signal an image signal within a specified range to be corrected for shaking from an image signal within a shaking-correctable range set in the correctable range setting means, an optimum correction image extracting means for extracting as a second image signal an image signal within a specified range with the center point of the shaking-correctable range set by the correctable range setting means used as a reference, and an image signal synthesizing means for synthesizing the first signal extracted by the means of extracting an image to be corrected with the second image signal extracted by the optimum correction image extracting means to output it. Accordingly, the imaging system can prevent a subject being photographed from deviating from a shaking-correctable range and align a lens position to a position where the subject is corrected for shaking most efficiently.
