Abstract:
An imaging unit for an endoscope which comprises an image sensor, an electric cable, an electric component, and an electronic circuit that electrically connects the image sensor, the electric component and the electric cable, wherein the electronic circuit is composed of a rigid printed wiring board and a flexible printed wiring board that are laminated in a thickness direction, a distal end of the cable is joined to the rigid printed wiring board so as to intersect substantially perpendicular thereto, and the electric component is mounted on an extension part that extends to the rear of the flexible printed wiring board.
