Abstract:
Provided are an imaging unit, an imaging module, and an endoscope that have a narrow diameter and have superior connection reliability. An imaging unit 10 according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a prism 40 that concentrates light; a semiconductor package 20 that has an imaging element 21 and has a connection electrode formed on a back surface; a plurality of cables 60a, 60b; a plurality of electronic components 51, 52; and a laminated substrate 30 that has a rectangular plate shape, has a first electrode and a second electrode positioned next to one another on a front surface, and has third electrodes 32a, 32b formed on a back surface f4, to which third electrodes 32a, 32b the electronic components 51, 52 are mounted, wherein the laminated substrate 30 has wall sections 33-1, 33-2 on at least two opposite sides of the back surface f4, and a light-receiving surface of the imaging element 21 is mounted horizontally in the semiconductor package 20.
