Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to find a novel compound having an excellent β-lactamase inhibitory action, and to provide a useful prophylactic or therapeutic agent for bacterial infectious diseases, as a sole agent or in combination with a β-lactam medicine. Disclosed is a compound represented by formula (1a) or (1b), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. (In formulas (1a) and (1b), one of R1, R2, and R3 is formula (3), L4 includes an imino group as defined in the Description, and the other groups are as defined in the Description.)
