Abstract:
An imitation candle device is provided. The imitation candle device has a flame element (100), a plurality of light producing devices (210, 220) configured to project light to illuminate a particular area on the flame element (100), a color sensor (1050) configured to detect a color of a surface that the imitation candle device is placed on, one or more colored lighting devices (1006) positioned to illuminate an exterior wall of the imitation candle device, and a circuit board (300) configured to control projection of the light beams onto the flame element (1002) to simulate an appearance of a candle flame, the circuit board (300) further configured to receive a signal indicative of the color of the surface from the color sensor (1050) and to adjust illumination of the exterior wall provided by the one or more colored lighting devices (1006) based on the signal.
