Abstract:
[Problem] To enable supply to a sensor section after removing blood cells from whole blood with ease in an assay device performing optical measurement using a sensor chip provided with a microchannel through which a sample fluid flows.
[Solution] In an assay device performing measurement for a substance to be detected which can be contained in a sample fluid (S) using a sensor chip (10) in which a microchannel (11) through which the sample fluid (S) flows is provided in a channel member (12) and a sensor section (14) is provided in a portion of the inside of the microchannel (11), a recess (11a) formed in such a state that the wall of the channel is recessed is provided upstream of the sensor section (14) in the channel member (12) and also a means (40) which is disposed at a position facing the recess (11a) and generates ultrasonic waves traversing the microchannel (11) and traveling toward the recess (11a) is provided.
