Abstract:

Provided is a test device for immunochromatography that is capable of accurate assessment even in cases in which an excess of test liquid has been introduced therein.　Specifically provided is a test device for immunochromatography comprising a test piece, a lower housing having a plurality of support bases for supporting the test piece, and an upper housing having a drop opening for dropping a sample upon the test piece and having a detection window in the direction in which the sample introduced from the drop opening spreads upon the test piece, wherein the width of the support base supporting the portion of the test piece exposed by the detection window is narrower than the width of the test piece, or the width of the support base, from among the plurality of support bases, that is disposed between a position in the lower housing corresponding to the detection window and a position in the lower housing corresponding to the drop opening is wider than the width of the test piece.
