Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an immunochromatographic test piece containing a control line detection reagent that cannot be affected by the concentration of a substance to be detected. [Solution] An immunochromatographic test piece for use in the quantification of a substance of interest in a biological sample, said immunochromatographic test piece being characterized by comprising (a) a conjugation pad which is impregnated with both a detection reagent capable of bonding specifically to the substance of interest and a control line detection reagent and (b) a porous membrane pad onto which an antibody for capturing the substance of interest is immobilized on the upstream side thereof and an antibody for capturing specifically the control line detection reagent is immobilized on the downstream side thereof.
