Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention provides an impact tool improved in terms of a battery mounting technique. [Solution] An impact tool provided with a motor (110), a tool body (101), a handle (109), and a battery mounting unit (160A). The motor (110) drives a tool bit (119). A battery (170A) is detachably mounted in the battery mounting unit (160A). The handle (109) extends in a handle extension direction intersecting a major axis direction. The battery mounting unit (160A) comprises a battery engaging unit (161) with which the battery (170A) can engage. The battery (170A) is mounted in the battery mounting unit (160A) by being slid in an intersecting direction that intersects the battery engaging unit (161) in both directions of the major axis direction of the tool bit (119) and the extension direction of the handle (109).
