Abstract:
Provided is an impact tool in which stop control of a motor, i.e. a motive power source for a tip tool, is changed in accordance with prescribed conditions. A hammer drill (1) is provided with at least two operating modes including a hammer mode in which impact force is transmitted to a tip tool, and rotary force is not transmitted, and a hammer drill mode in which at least rotary force is transmitted to the tip tool. The hammer drill (1) is provided with: a motor (30), i.e. a motive power source; and a control unit for implementing stop control for stopping the motor (30). The control unit implements one of at least two types of stop control in accordance with prescribed conditions.
