Abstract:
An impeller comprises a generally cylindrical impeller body having an inner flow passage for joining an inlet opened in one end surface and an outlet opened in the peripheral surface to each other and a balance weight buried in the impeller body. The balance weight is formed in a vertical shape the height of which in the axial direction of the cylindrical impeller body is larger than the thickness thereof in the radial direction. The vertical balance weight is buried in the cylindrical impeller body at the peripheral edge.
