Title:
IMPELLER PRODUCTION METHOD BY FUSED DEPOSITION MODELING USING DISSIMILAR MATERIALS, AND IMPELLER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/170729
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an impeller production method that limits costs while making it possible to impart erosion resistance without increasing the number of production steps; and an impeller. In this method for producing an impeller 10 by fused deposition modeling, an impeller 10 endowed with erosion resistance and comprising a material that is a second type of powder 201 on the surface 15A of a wall 15 defining a flow path 14 in the impeller 10 is formed by the layering of layers Ly resulting from repetition of the following steps: a first step S1 in which at least a first type of powder 201 comprising a metal material from among said first type of powder 201 and a second type of powder 202 capable of imparting erosion resistance is supplied to a predetermined target surface Tg; a second step in which an electron beam EB is used to irradiate a specified range within the target surface Tg on the basis of cross-sectional data; and a third step Se in which a layer Ly formed via melting and solidification is displaced by the thickness of said layer Ly with respect to the target surface Tg.
