Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve production efficiency including during the period from the molding to the polishing of an impeller. This impeller production method is provided with a molding step S1 in which an impeller 10 is molded by fused deposition modeling and a polishing step S2 in which a wall 15 defining a flow path 14 in the impeller 10 is polished using a particulate polishing material 23. The polishing material 23 is either sprayed onto or rubbed on the wall 15 of the flow path 14 in the polishing step S2. For example, the polishing material 23 is preferably sprayed toward the wall 15 of the flow path 14 from a plurality of nozzle holes 21C, 22C formed in nozzle members 21, 22 inserted in the flow path 14.
