Abstract:
The present application provides an implementation method of a maximum likelihood sequence estimation (MLSE) equalizer, a chip, an electronic device, and a computer readable medium. The implementation method of the MLSE equalizer comprises: according to an optimal path of a (k-1)th symbol, determining a first path corresponding to a kth symbol and needing to calculate a branch path metric value, wherein k is an integer greater than or equal to 2; calculating the branch path metric value of the kth symbol under the first path; determining an optimal path of the kth symbol and an optimal accumulation path distance of the kth symbol under the optimal path of the kth symbol according to the branch path metric value of the kth symbol under the first path and an optimal accumulation path distance of the (k-1)th symbol under the optimal path of the (k-1)th symbol; and storing the optimal path of the kth symbol and the optimal accumulation path distance of the kth symbol under the optimal path of the kth symbol.
